Yvonne McGrath

Yvonne is a seasoned biotechnology executive with over 25 years of international experience in oncology drug discovery and development. She holds a PhD in Immunology from the University of Wales College of Medicine. She began her career at Biovex, where she contributed to the development of oncolytic virus and dendritic cell vaccine approaches for melanoma. She later joined Immunocore, where she led multidisciplinary teams to advance the company’s first TCR/anti-CD3 bispecific T cell engager from discovery into the clinic. This program resulted in Kimmtrak, now approved for the treatment of uveal melanoma. Yvonne subsequently served as Chief Scientific Officer and board member at Complix, where she oversaw the development of a novel biologics platform targeting intracellular protein–protein interactions. Most recently, as the Chief Scientific Officer, she led iTeos Therapeutics preclinical and translation efforts, driving the company’s oncology pipeline and advancing translational medicine strategies to better understand therapeutic mechanisms and patient response.
